Buffalo Bar, Windsor place

Part of the Torchwood Pub Crawl

There used to be more than just the novelty value of visiting London in the recent past, it oozed something. A something that Cardiff could never quite offer, no matter how much people tried (remember Undeb?). Travelling there to visit friends often felt more like a holiday than, well, an actual holiday. Now Cardiff seems to have realised that there is no need to imitate the appeal of London, that there is no need to create exclusive places in order to make patrons feel important. We are important, Cardiff is important and already original without the need for any gimmicks.

The Buffalo Bar, in Cardiff's 'Lawyer District' offers just that, an originality that goes far deeper than its surface yet it retains that something special, oozing appeal. It's unique decor and furniture prove that there is more to life than IKEA, someone must have trawled the retro furnishers handbook when kitting out the place. The mismatch environment creates the perfect setting for the diverse backgrounds of its many customers.

Buffalo Bar is Cardiffs' finest place to eat (made with locally sourced produce), drink (why not try out there extensive list of premium cocktails using spirits you've actually heard of) and be merry (um, they showcase local artists, filmmakers and bands/DJ's).

Its not trying to be the place to be seen in Cardiff but, believe me, it is. Even a few Londoners have graced it with their presence, how cool is that!
