Barfly
Noel Gallagher famously said of the original Barfly club in London: "it's
ten years ahead of anybody's time." The launchpad for bands such as
Coldplay, Feeder and Stereophonics, the Camden club became legendary for its
talent-spotting... and that's why it was so gratifying when the owners chose
Cardiff to house the second Barfly in 2001. Since then, others have followed
around the country all with the same aim: to provide the best of new and
fresh talent and give bands on their way to stardom a platform for their new
material. Truly one of the most exciting nights out you can have in the
capital.
