Clwb Ifor Bach
Clwb Ifor Bach is a Welsh-language live music venue and nightclub, often
referred to as Y Clwb or The Welsh Club. Named after Ifor Bach, a famous
local rebel against English rule during the 12th century, the former
members-only club came into being in the 70s but has grown in popularity
hugely in recent years, thanks primarily to its laidback atmosphere and the
exciting live music that is to be found there every week. It's no longer
members only, but it's worth joining for the privileges of entry on special
nights (for example, after Six Nations) and when prestigious bands play.
