From 20th March, visitors to Cardiff's St David's Shopping Centre will be able to enjoy genuine Italian food in relaxed
surroundings, with the arrival of Carluccio's.
The new restaurant is situated in the bustling food quarter on
Mill Lane within St David's and will offer Carluccio's much-loved
combination of caffè, restaurant, alimentari foodshop and deli.
Open throughout the day it will be the ideal destination for breakfast,
coffee and pastries, light lunch, a three-course meal with wine in the
evening or even a spot of retail therapy.
THE CAFFÈ AND RESTAURANTUsing the freshest seasonal ingredients, many sourced direct from Italy, the restaurant menu will offer something for everyone. Look forward to an array of authentic Italian dishes, from delicious antipasti and fresh handmade pasta, to heart-warming fish, meat and vegetarian mains and decadent desserts. As well as great food, Carluccio's offers excellent value for money, with two courses setting you back as little as £15. FOODSHOP AND DELI
Carluccio's deli will be brimming with freshly made dishes available for lunch on-the-go including tasty ciabatta sandwiches, piadina (Italian flat bread) and daily hot dishes. Head to the foodshop to browse shelves bursting with beautifully packaged Italian wines, coffee, biscuits, pastas, polenta, rice, antipasti, sauces and handmade sweets and chocolate. A must-have store cupboard staple or an ideal gift for foodie friends, visitors to the foodshop will also be able to get their hands on a fabulous selection of olive oils, including the wonderful Olio Novello (£12.95 for 50cl) from the Romagna region in Northern Italy. Produced by the Lo Conte family who have been pressing olives for more than a quarter of a century, Olio Novello is an unfiltered oil with a fresh and fruity taste. Made with this season's handpicked olives, some picked by members of the Carluccio's team, each bottle is hand signed and individually numbered by the producer. CAFFÈ EVENTS
